WHISPERKOOL is a cooling unit designed specifically to maintain temperature and humidity within a properly designed cellar. There are 3 different product lines available-Extreme, Split System and XLT-to accomodate even the most challenging environmental conditions. They are easy to install wall mounted units for cellars 300- 2,000 cubic feet in size. Whisperkool units are specifically designed to be installed between wall studs and are equipped with a rear flange for mounting, eliminating the need for a support shelf.
1.EXTREME SERIES-The Extreme Series is Whisperkool's highest end, professional line of self-contained cooling units. Designed and engineered utilizing state-of-the-art, high quality components, it is made for longevity, high reliability and excellent performance in a wide range of working conditions. Engineered with oversized condenser and evaporator coils, a powerful ventilation system and a protective exterior housing. The unit is designed to vent to the outside in climates where temperatures reach over 100 degrees, These units can also be vented into an adjacent indoor room when applicable.
FEATURES: The units are designed to work in conditions that cause traditional units to fail such as:
- in hotter environments where cooling is difficult
- in restricted areas where venting is limited
- in cold areas where many units fail to operate
The ventilation system is ideal for ducting. The optional collars fit standard ventilation ducting, allowing the installer to vent air to and from the unit for optimum performance. This unit requires professional installation.

2.SPLIT SYSTEM: The split system offers the option of installing the evaporator inside and the condenser unit either indoors or outdoors. Two models are available for cellar volumes of up to 1,000 cubic feet-
SS4000 or up to 1,750 cubic feet-
SS7000. Professional installation is required.

3.XLT SERIES: This series consists of five dedicated cooling units for wine cellars ranging from 300-2,000 cubic feet. This system maintains humidity while tradional air-conditioning units remove humidity, creating a drier environment. Professional installation is required.
