Every wine cellar starts with a great idea. Our goal is to help you take your creative ideas and make them a reality. This may involve assisting you in picking out a free-standing wine cellar, lending a hand with the design of an entire wine room, or even building the room and installing the racking and cooling system. No matter what part of your wine storage system you'd like help with, we strive to fuse our experience with your ideas to ensure that you get the quality and functionality that you want.
A typical project goes through the following stages of development:

1. Idea
You may be thinking "wouldn't it be nice to have a wine room?" or you
may know exactly how you want your room to look. Regardless of how far
along your idea has developed we want to help you take it to the next
level.
TIME: -as long as it takes for you to say, "Let's move ahead and really
get serious about this."
COST: no charge from us, but you might want a glass of your favorite
wine while you're thinking it through.
2. In-Store Consultation
You can stop by our store any time to generate some ideas, take a look
at the various products that we carry, and
share your ideas with our friendly staff. Click here to view our various products.
Availability: Appointment Recommended. We are open 10-5 Monday to Friday.
Time: 30 minutes
Cost: no charge
3. Site Assessment
At this point you are pretty sure you want to proceed but want to find
out more details. You have specific questions that you want answered.
Availability: Generally we book 10-30 days in advance
Time: 3 - 14 days.
Cost: $295 (50% of this fee will be refunded to you if you follow the project through to completion with us.)
You provide detailed drawings to us or we come on site to take
measurements. Once we are sure of the dimensions we will discuss ideas,
go over products, construction requirements, assessment of possible
capacity, and discuss your purchasing habits so that we can be sure to
build a scalable model that will accommodate your collection down the road.
4. Design, Drawings & Revision
This is the part of the process where you'll get to see for the first
time what our designers have put together for your room. Once you have
the drawings we will make any revisions that you may require to ensure
that you get exactly what you're after.
Time: from consultation drawings are typically available in 2-3 weeks.
Cost: range between: $225-$425
5. Proposal
You will be provided with an in-depth cost break down of every aspect of
your project so there will be no little surprises later. If you are
comfortable with the project we will take a deposit and then begin
working on whatever aspect of creating your wine room you would like our
help with.
Time: Our prices are guaranteed for one month from the time the proposal
was issued.
6. Construction
This is where things start to get exciting – your room begins to take
shape! The room construction phase entails any of the work that must be
completed in the room before your cooling unit and racking can be
installed. Common tasks include: demolition, framing, insulating, dry
walling, electrical, plumbing, and finishing.
Time: 1-3 weeks
Cost: Variable.
7. Racking & Cooling Unit Installation
The penultimate phase of the project. Your drawings come to life
as you see the racking and accouterments installed. A once empty room
will now hold hundreds, or even thousands, of bottles of your best
wines. We may build the racking on site or in our shop depending on the
size of your room and the racking system you have purchased.
Time: 1 day to 21 days
Cost: Variable.
8. Cellar MGMT. Services
Once your wine room is complete, the real fun begins –stocking, tasting,
and enjoying your wine! We offer a wide range of services to ensure that
you get the most enjoyment from your collection for many years to come.
